About 6 months ago, I found the perfect fedora at Urban Outfitters. The woven straw material is far from classic, but it is very practical in the summer. However, it was more expensive than I liked, so I decided to wait until it goes on sale. A few more months of waiting ensued, but the wait was worth it.
I went to the Farmers' Market today to do some grocery shopping. The weather feels more like Summer than Spring. It was nice to be out and stock up on organic veggies without paying an arm and a leg.

The fedora looks great on you. I've always wished I could wear hats -- and apparently I look good in hats -- but I always feel uncomfortable in one. Much like wearing lipstick.
Thanks! I know what you mean--I'm still not much of a hat-wearer because I don't like to worry about having an additional thing on my head, and I still have a fear that the hat will get blown off my tiny head and I'll have to go chasing after it. However, a straw hat is nice to keep my hair from heating up in the sun; the downside to having black hair is that it is incredibly heat-absorbent.
I love that skirt you're wearing!
You're adorable. I love your hat. I have 2 fedoras - both from Target, and although they're a bit big for my head, I love wearing them on sunny afternoons.
